Life is Too Short for Litigation

Nobody wins when it comes to litigation.  Its a long drawn out process that can take years and thousands of dollars.  At the end of the day it’s up to a judge who is a person and may make a bad decision.  Mediation is a way to take control of your dispute and to find a resolution that allows you to move on without further litigation.

What is mediation?

Mediation is a process where a neutral third party will try to help the parties to a dispute to find a creative resolution that avoids the time, cost, and uncertainty of litigation.  Unlike judges and juries who have to strictly follow the laws, parties in a mediation are limited only by their creativity and can craft resolutions as unique as the disputes themselves.  This flexibility makes it easier to find something that works for all parties that might not be what happens if the matter goes to trial.

who will be handling our mediation?

Mediations are handled by Rick Davis, who is a Kansas and Missouri real estate attorney who has been working exclusively with area real estate investors since 2015.  Rick is also the owner of a title company, and a real estate investor, so he has a wide range of knowledge on many issues related to real estate investing.  This experience makes Rick uniquely suited for disputes involving real estate or between real estate investors or partners.
